EU Healthcare is an Irish-based service that helps patients access treatment abroad under the EU Cross-Border Healthcare Directive.

We provide coordination, administrative support, and logistics.
We are not a healthcare provider and do not deliver medical treatment.



2. Acceptance of These Terms

By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable laws.

If you do not agree, you should not use our service.

3. Important: Our Role

EU Healthcare:

  • Coordinates your treatment journey
  • Supports communication with hospitals
  • Assists with paperwork, travel, and reimbursement


We do not:

  • Provide medical advice
  • Diagnose or recommend treatment
  • Make clinical decisions


All medical care is provided by independent healthcare providers.

4. No Medical Advice

Any information provided by EU Healthcare is general and for guidance only.

You must always rely on:

  • Your GP
  • Your consultant
  • Your treating hospital


for medical advice and decisions.

5. Your Relationship with Hospitals

When you proceed with treatment:

  • You enter into a direct agreement with the hospital or provider
  • The hospital is fully responsible for your treatment and care
  • EU Healthcare is not a party to that medical agreement



6. Medical Responsibility and Outcomes

EU Healthcare is not responsible for:

  • Medical decisions made by healthcare providers
  • The outcome of any treatment or procedure
  • Complications, side effects, or recovery
  • The quality of care provided by hospitals

All medical responsibility lies with the treating provider.

7. Costs and Payments


Treatment is typically paid directly to the hospital.



You are responsible for all treatment-related costs



Costs may vary depending on:


  • Procedure
  • Hospital
  • Medical needs


EU Healthcare does not control or guarantee pricing.

8. HSE Reimbursement (Important)

We assist with preparing and submitting your reimbursement application.

However:

  • Reimbursement is subject to HSE approval
  • We do not guarantee reimbursement

Reimbursement amounts may be:

  • Partial
  • Delayed
  • Refused

Policies and eligibility may change at any time.

9. Travel and Accommodation

We may assist with travel and accommodation arrangements.

However, we are not responsible for:

  • Flight delays or cancellations
  • Accommodation issues
  • Travel disruptions
  • Events outside our control

All travel arrangements are subject to third-party providers.

10. Timelines and Availability

We aim to help you access treatment faster.

However, we do not guarantee:

  • Specific treatment dates
  • Waiting times
  • Hospital availability

Timelines depend on external providers and circumstances.

11. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Obtain required GP referrals
  • Follow medical advice from your providers
  • Arrange and pay for treatment as required
  • Comply with all applicable laws and requirements

You are responsible for decisions made regarding your care.

12. Data and Consent

By using our service, you agree that:

  • Your information may be used to assess your case
  • Your data may be shared with:
  • Hospitals
  • Medical platforms (e.g. Zed)
  • Relevant service providers

All data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

13. Third-Party Services

We work with third-party providers, including:

  • Hospitals and clinics
  • Medical platforms
  • Travel providers

These are independent entities.

We are not responsible for:

  • Their services
  • Their decisions
  • Their policies

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

EU Healthcare is not liable for:

  • Any medical outcomes
  • Financial loss or costs
  • Travel disruptions
  • Delays or cancellations
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Your use of our service is at your own risk.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold EU Healthcare harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your decisions regarding treatment
  • Any information you provide


16. Service Availability

We may:

  • Modify or withdraw services at any time
  • Refuse or discontinue service
  • Update how the service operates

We are not obligated to provide services in all cases.

17. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service unlawfully
  • Provide false information
  • Act abusively toward staff or partners
  • Interfere with the operation of the service

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.

18. Security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your account details secure

We are not liable for unauthorised access caused by your actions.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, including:

  • Travel restrictions
  • Strikes
  • Health emergencies
  • Hospital cancellations

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Any disputes will be handled by the Irish courts.
